Better Business – Looking good, feeling great.

Our districts benefit from the “Green, Clean Machine” project. an electric truck that removes graffiti from levy-paying businesses signs, and from trading areas.

Graffiti damages the reputation of the business and makes customers and staff feel uneasy. We also collect food waste and coffee grounds to compost in partnership with a local charity, ’Grounded Community’ - growing vegetables for local food banks.

Safer, more pleasant communities.

Overwhelmingly, our levy payers want a safe and welcoming place for those who work, live and visit the town.

Working in partnership with the police and BCP Council we fund dedicated Community Safety Advisory Scheme Officers who patrol the Boscombe precinct and the surrounding areas. They are reducing crime, anti-social behaviour and the fear of crime, providing a point of contact and a visible deterrent on the high street.
